The film “Return to Fukushima” will have its preview screening on May 20 at Le Parc cinema in Liège and on May 27 at Caméo cinema in Namur.
For several years now, the Japanese government has been building complexes known as “renewal housing developments” in the heart of Fukushima Prefecture. More than a decade after the accident, this heavily contaminated region is seeing the emergence of these concrete neighborhoods, isolated in the midst of wild and radioactive nature. This film offers an intimate portrait of the residents of these places and provides a poetic reflection on the region.

ABOUT LES FILMS DE LA PASSERELLE
Founded in 1984, Les Films de la Passerelle quickly turned its attention to the creation of documentaries dealing with social issues (prisons, respect for workers' rights, etc.), humanitarian issues (African hospitals) and political issues (human rights). A desire to raise awareness through ongoing reflection on North/South relations (Street kids in Brazil, etc.).
